In celebration of Festa Della Repubblica (Italian National Day), Casa Belvedere and Colavita USA co-hosted to a a cocktail reception for Francesco Genuardi, the new Consul General of Italy in New York. The meet-and-greet unfolded June 17 in Casa Belvedere, the Italian cultural center on Grymes Hill, where cocktails flowed and sumptuous hors d'oeuvres abounded.

It was the Consul General's first visit to Staten Island to meet politicos and dignitaries, Italian and Italian-American representatives, as well as members and supporters of Casa Belvedere — i.e. the house with the beautiful view — who gave him a warm and heartfelt welcome.
