Codacons, a national association that represents Italian consumers, has drawn up a survey on the cost of living in the main Italian cities, comparing prices and fares for a range of goods and services, from meat to fruit and vegetables, as well as dentists, hairdressers, and coffee shops.
According to the association’s analysis, Milan (Lombardy) is confirmed as the Italian city where life costs the most. Naples (Campania) is the cheapest in terms of food expenditure, while Pescara (Abruzzo) is the most convenient in terms of service fares.
