A senior environmental geoscience major has has no regrets while studying abroad during the COVID-19 pandemic. Jordan Kemp arrived in Florence, Italy, on Jan. 29, though she had been traveling around Europe for several weeks prior to landing.
Before the shutdowns began in Italy, Kemp was volunteering at a local elementary school and middle school teaching English. She explored the city each day and took classes at Florence University of the Arts.
