This classic Fellini film stars Marcello Mastroianni as Guido Anselmi, a famous film director. Guido Anselmi is suffering from the dreaded "directors block" while working on a science fiction film with autobiographical references.
As Guido struggles half-heartedly to work on the film, he is confronted with flashbacks and dreams that delve into his memories and fantasies; they are frequently interwoven with his reality.
