Taste of Little Italy - September 22, 2013 - 10 am / 7 pm
Mount Carmel Place, Poughkeepsie - (845) 483-7300
In 2010, Friends of Little Italy Poughkeepsie (FLIP) introduced downtown Poughkeepsie to the first annual "Taste of Little Italy", and since then the event has seen tremendous growth. Last year, several thousand people filled Mt. Carmel Place, the heart of the city's historic Little Italy. Dozens of vendors, dancers, musicians, chefs, artists, performers, locals and visitors enjoyed a glorious fall day savoring the best foods from the Hudson Valley region. People are looking forward to returning this year for the cannoli eating contest, grape stomping event, children's activities and much, much more. "Taste of Little Italy" has already become a highly anticipated community tradition.
