If the air smells like pizza and cannoli and Italian tunes bounce off the buildings in downtown Scranton, then it must be time for La Festa Italiana.
The annual celebration of all things Italian returns this weekend to Lackawanna County Courthouse Square, where thousands will flock from Saturday to Monday to indulge in food, music and fun. Tents and stands will peddle traditional Italian foods plus other festival favorites and wares, and local and national acts, including Andy DiMino's returning Dean Martin tribute, will provide entertainment on three stages.
