Mary Menniti, founder of The Italian Garden Project, will share her work in documenting these gardens. Her presentation will feature unique and nostalgic photography of the gardeners and their gardens.
Mary Menniti's Italian immigrant grandfather taught her the importance of a self-reliant lifestyle. She founded The Italian Garden Project to preserve old-world food and gardening traditions and show that the joy and wisdom of the traditional Italian American garden can help sustain future generations.
