Milan, not only Italy's capital of fashion and design, is also the place to be for Italian Contemporary art. The city already counts museums and galleries the likes of the Civico Museo d'Arte Contemporanea (in Palazzo Reale) to its name, as well as the Museo del Novecento or 1900s Museum, recapping some of Modern art's most interesting tendencies; and PAC, a forerunner for its treatment of architecture designed exclusively as Modern and Contemporary art pieces.
It is thus that RIVOLI2 - Fondazione per l'Arte contemporanea is to be welcomed into the fold (January 16) as expository space for installations and exhibits, research and experimentation.
