Tiny corner of Italy takes root with Mino

A table of eight people — from all appearances Italian-Americans — sat next to us, and another eight-top stood ready. This was proof positive that Mino's claim of authentic Italian is more than good PR. It's Italian-family good.

But more importantly, that table, with its round of individual pizzas, proved valuable as I attempted to eat my own. I ordered the house Mino white pizza with sweet onions and crispy chips of pancetta ($14). It arrived as a roughly round pizza, unsliced. Not all neat and easy to eat like we do it in America.
