Stefano Raimondi won a gold medal in the 100m freestyle S10 at the Paris La Défense Arena. Gold also went to Rigivan Ganeshamoorthy (Italian born in Rome to Sri Lankan parents) in the discus throw F52, who also set a new world record by improving the previous benchmark by more than three meters.

Alessia Scortechini, on the other hand, won bronze in the 100m freestyle S10: the results of the Azzurri Other medals, again in the Défense Arena pool, came from Alessia Scortechini, who won the bronze medal in the 100m freestyle S10 behind French gold medalist Emeline Pierre, and Canadian Aurelie Rivard, silver.
