With one Italian market out, a replacement is on the way in the heart of Virginia-Highland. Tuscany at Your Table will open to the public this Saturday, December 10, at 1050 North Highland Ave. NE. It replaces Toscano & Sons Italian Market, which operated out of the space from December 2013 until its shutter in September.
Rosemary Hall, social media manager for Tuscany at Your Table, tells Eater Atlanta the market will focus on prepared dishes to take home, but "some seating will be available for those who want to stop by for an espresso or easy meal." A wide selection of Italian goods, such as meats, cheeses, olives, wines, and "culinary gifts" will also be available. Hall says wine won't be on the dine-in menu, but Tuscany at Your Table will host tastings from time to time.
