Bitter yet sweet. This summer, Negronis are overtaking Spritz. From Chef Nicolas Stefanelli’s award-winning Pugliese restaurant, Masseria, in Washington, DC to Bestia Trattoria in LA, it's hard to find an Italian restaurant that has not taken this carry-away cocktail to the next level.
Masseria has capitalized on its vintage spirits collection, offering a Negroni mixed with aged Campari from the 1970s, Pio Cesare Vermouth, and Monkey 47 Gin. Don’t forget to visit their sister location– Officina– where they sell a catered picnic complete with cocktails.
