
The world premiere of the latest composition by Italian conductor and pianist Giovanni Allevi happens this Saturday, August 26, in Bowling Green, KY.
His Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, No. 1 will be performed by Orchestra Kentucky, conducted by musical director Jeffrey Reed and featuring pianist Jeffrey Biegel, at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center. In November, Maestro Reed and pianist Biegel will also preside over the European premiere of Allevi's new work with Orchestra Sinfonica Italiana at the famed Teatro dal Verme in Milan, Italy.
