Dr. Jim Cummins is a Professor Emeritus in the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. His research has transformed our understanding of how bilingual education works and has opened up new possibilities for enriching children's linguistic and academic development through bilingualism.
Dr. Cummins will focus not only on the benefits of enabling children to acquire two languages at an early age but also on the potential challenges that parents and teachers may experience in supporting children's dual language development.
Tickets: $20 until 7 November; $35 thereafter. A small service fee applies.
