As we ring in the 2013 Year of Italian Culture in America, it's important to note just how much Italian culture has already permeated the cultural fabric of the Bay. In this blog, we've discussed many contributions Italy has made to Bay Area culture, from technology and venture capital to poetry and architecture. As the proverbial melting pot, America's greatness is sprung from her rich cultural inputs, and as far as the Bay goes, Italy has a continuing — and special — influence. The Italian language is central to this equation.
