Emiliana Borrelli, Professor of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics at UC Irvine School of Medicine, will discuss her work and research activity, which has earned her international recognition and prestigious awards. She will receive the IIC Los Angeles Creativity Award.

The event is organized on the occasion of the Italian Research Day (April 15), an initiative launched by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) to promote the important work of Italian scientists and researchers in the World.
