
The 2014 Italian Festival scholarship winners were announced and honored Saturday at Heritage Port.
There were 14 total winners from six surrounding counties which are: Belmont, Jefferson, Hancock, Brooke, Ohio and Marshall. Each student received a commemorative scholarship plaque.
Those awarded are:
Collin Stipetich from John Marshall High School, Marley Keller from Bishop Donahue High School, Melanie Sich from Steubenville High School, Nico Treglia from Indian Creek High School, Kiana Duncan from Shadyside High School, William Salvatori from Wheeling Park High School, Elizabeth Padden from Wheeling Central Catholic High School, Manda Robey from Martins Ferry High School, Amy Mehlman from Bellaire High School, Morgan Goff from Weir High School, Alisandra Welch from Madonna High School, Cassidy Bland from Brooke High School, Emily Hone from Brooke High School, and David Holden from West Virginia Northern Community College.
Congratulations to these 14 students. The Italian Festival Foundation has awarded more than $265,000 in scholarships, since it's inception 32 years ago.
