Rowan University's Italian-American Club will hold its Second Annual Autism Awareness Benefit on Saturday, April 11. The benefit runs from 7-10 p.m. in the Enyon Ballroom in Rowan's Chamberlain Student Center. Semi-formal attire is requested, and everyone is encouraged to wear blue to represent Autism Awareness. DJ Rob Zybrick will provide dance music and Rowan's Gourmet Dining is donating the food.
The event is co-sponsored by Rowan University Academic Success Center and Disability Resources. All proceeds go to the Autism Society of America. The society, founded in 1965, works toward helping individuals and their families achieve their highest potential and also spread awareness about the disability.
