A unified national ecosystem is telling its story—and showing its strength—at the world’s most important biotechnology event. The BIO International Convention has opened in Boston, and with it the Italian Pavilion, organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) together with Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, with support from Farmindustria, Federchimica Assobiotec, and Invitalia.
The delegation pairs the biomedical innovations of established leaders and rising start-ups with regional clusters, science parks, research foundations, and investment-promotion agencies, all ready to brief international partners and investors on the opportunities available across Italy’s main biotech ecosystems.
