
In collaboration with the New York Council for the Humanities, NIDO (Noi Italiani D'Oggi) and Arts Mid-Hudson (formerly Dutchess County Arts Council) Folk Arts Program present "Linguini and Lust: Food and Sex in Italian American Culture," a lecture presentation by Fred Gardaphe, Ph.D., tracing the evolution of stereotypes of Italian-Americans as lovers of food and lovers of sex.
This free and open to the public lecture will take place on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at 7:00 P.M. at the Italian Center, 277 Mill Street, Poughkeepsie (parking access from Mansion Street).
