Italian medical technology continues to gain traction in the U.S. market: in 2024, exports to the United States grew by 14.6% compared to the previous year, reaching a total value of $832 million (source: usatrade.census.gov). This positive trend sets the stage for Italy’s participation in the upcoming World Health Expo (Whx) in Miami, scheduled for June 11–13, 2025.

Formerly known as FIME, the World Health Expo is one of the leading global events for the medical technology and equipment industry. For the first time, Italy will be represented with a national pavilion coordinated by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), bringing together 12 companies showcasing cutting-edge solutions across the medtech value chain.
