Il Circolo Italiano is proud to host the third annual Italian Heritage Month Movie Night. Come celebrate with them on Columbus Day by watching Emanuele Crialese's critically acclaimed film Nuovomondo! This film tells the story of a poor family from southern Italy and their dreams of emigrating to the New World in the early 20th century.
The Movie Night will take place on Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 12, at 6 p.m. in Northwest Quad B108. Ryan Calabretta-Sajder of the Italian department will give a brief introduction before the film. Pizza and drinks will be provided. The film is in Italian with English subtitles. This event is free for students and no tickets are required.
