Royce Burke has never owned or run a restaurant, but his pop-up cooking at local spots like Chimney Coffee House and the Arts District’s excellent Daily Dose Cafe have garnered him a lot of fans. Now he’s embarking on his own brick-and-mortar shop in Chinatown.
Say hello to Secret Lasagna, a late-night takeout and delivery joint that will begin serving on July 19. It’s filling a space opposite the defunct Pok Pok restaurant at Mandarin Plaza. Secret Lasagna will do takeout from 5 p.m.-12 a.m. on Thursday-Sunday, and delivery via the UberEats app from 5 p.m.-3 a.m. on the same days.
