A brand new concept, Giovannetti’s Italian Cuisine, is set to make its debut later this year in Vista at 1011 S Santa Fe Ave Ste A & B. The new restaurant is the latest venture from owner Yesenia Zambrano, according to a recent liquor license application. Zambrano tells What Now San Diego that the concept is expected to open by the end of July 2025.

Chef Jair Santos will head the kitchen, who recently placed third in this season’s Favorite Chef competition, according to Zambrano. Santos previously served as executive chef for Pizza & More. Giovannetti’s will offer a menu centered around pizzas and pastas, with nightly entrée specials crafted by Santos.
