A new Italian spot, offering pizza and more, has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to La Cañada Flintridge, called Stella's Pizza Kitchen, is located at 456 Foothill Blvd. The family-run pizzeria specializes in New York-style pies and Italian favorites, "just like Mama did," according to the business' Facebook page. 

On the menu, expect to see starters like fried mozzarella, meatballs and sausage; an assortment of Italian-inspired salads; and hero sandwiches like the "Italian Grinder" with prosciutto, mortadella and ham. For "Stella's Favorites," look for dishes such as Mama's lasagna, baked ziti, stromboli and sausage rolls.
