When Romeo and Anna Schiavi took their first look at a restaurant building in Kernville, Anna turned to her husband and asked, "Where's the town?" to which her husband replied "You're sitting in it." That was more than 20 years ago and the restaurant they looked at became "That's Italian", a popular restaurant where customers have dined on and enjoyed fine food from around the world.
The Schiavi's have decided that after 20 years, it is time to move on and move back to Las Vegas and they have sold the business that has become a mainstay in downtown Kernville. On the last day of 2015, they served their last meatball to a packed house of well-wishers, family and friends.
