The Fishtown food scene continues to grow. If you’re looking for more Italian food options in the area, you’re in luck. The Tulip Pasta + Wine Bar (2302 E. Norris St.) is scheduled to open late summer and will feature, freshly made pasta and locally sourced wine.
Chefs Jason Cichonski and Alexander Beninato partnered with WAYVINE winery & vineyard for the concept. “Jason Cichonski had been talking with the Wilson brothers out at WAYVINE about doing a collaborative restaurant featuring their wine for a while. When the 2302 E. Norris space became available Jason and I began talking about bringing my style of PA Italian food into the mix and things just clicked,” states Alexander.
