Another weekend, another amazing outdoor food festival in the city. This time, South Street's Italian Market, America's oldest continuously running open-air market, is hosting a massive, multi-block food festival. This year is the 100th anniversary of the market.
The festival starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and goes until 6 p.m., rain or shine. From 9th Street to Fitzwater and Federal streets, roads will be closed to traffic all weekend. The food is the highlight of the event, but there is lots more to do than eat.
