A longtime Hanover Italian restaurant is returning after several years of focusing on catering, and will be located in a prominent downtown space, the owner announced. La Cucina, owned by Armando Malvone in the Hanover area since 2001, announced that the restaurant, the La Cucina Italian Restaurant, will be opening in downtown Hanover Borough at 11 York Street, the former home of McAllister's on York.

"We are starting to hire and build our wonderful staff for bar and servers and all positions," the post shared. La Cucina first opened its doors on the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive in 2001, and spent many years at that location as a popular local eatery.
