Mia's Italian Kitchen is now open at 100 King Street in Alexandria. The restaurant opened its doors Wednesday, April 18 at 11 a.m. at the former Carluccio's location, offering Italian specialties such as house-made pasta, sandwiches and pizza by the slice.

A project of Alexandria Restaurant Partners, Mia's Italian Kitchen is run by Corporate Executive Chef Graham Duncan and ARP Partner Dave Nicholas. The inspiration for the restaurant comes from Nicholas's great-grandmother from Naples, Italy, who he communicated with through cooking.
