As the COVID-19 pandemic nears its dubious one-year anniversary in New Jersey, a Garden State pizzeria is honoring frontline workers in the most Jersey way possible — with pizza. Villa Roma Pizzeria & Grill in Clifton is offering a 25% discount for healthcare workers, EMTs, paramedics, firefighters and police for the month of February to thank them for all the work they’ve done during the pandemic.
“2020 was a really rough year for all of us, but our healthcare workers and first responders remained so dedicated and served as an inspiration to everyone across the country,” Villa Roma owner Rich De Mayo said in a statement. “We are so proud to be able to honor the heroes in our area with this special 25% discount offer.”
