In Clarksburg, hundreds of people are gearing up for next week's Italian Heritage Festival. Residents got a taste of the festivities Saturday at the IHF's Pasta Cookoff at Jackson Square. Six cooks faced off to prepare their best dishes and community members voted on the their favorites for the "People's Choice" award.
Cooks could also win the "Best in Show" and first, second, and third for both red and white sauces. "We like to come, it's always fun, it's always good to try the different pastas. A friend and I have been coming for years, I brought my kids this time, and they're getting a chance to try it out," said Kim Burnside of Hepzibah.
