I was in search of real Italian pie, authentic pasta and a cannoli that I couldn’t put down. Bella Napoli Italian Restaurant in Suffolk answered my call. I visited Bella Napoli on a Friday evening during that in-between hour after lunch and before supper, so it was relatively quiet.
Watching the husband and wife owners interact with one another, I forgot I was in Suffolk. The wife answered calls and wrapped up each perfectly made dish, while the husband prepared homemade pastas and tossed pizza dough in the air like a magician putting on a show.
