Elena Viapiano debuted her new business, Dolce Vita Catering, in Rutland in early September, creating a new venture with the help of her father, long-time restaurateur Nic Viapiano.
Father and daughter last December sold The Local Tavern on Main Street in Holden, property where Nic Viapiano had operated restaurants for almost 20 years. His daughter owned and ran The Local Tavern for five years, rebranding the Viapiano family-owned restaurant, Flip Flops.
