In June, Capitano Italian Coastal Kitchen opened its doors in the heart of Bay Village in Beach Haven. Taking over the spot formerly occupied by Bistro 14 Restaurant and Raw Bar, the new venture by restaurateur and owner Oggi Echavarria brings a fresh wave of culinary comfort to the historic location.
With a menu that blends coastal flavors with classic Italian cuisine, Capitano promises to be a beacon for locals and visitors seeking the comforts of Italian home cooking backdropped by the vibrant seaside community. Born in Hoboken, Echavarria has long been a staple of the Bergen County and New York food scene, owning numerous establishments in the northern New Jersey area.
