There are few better authentic Italian places in Huron than the likes of Marconi’s Italian Restaurant, located at 424 Berlin Road, just east of downtown Huron. Marconi’s offers premiere recipes to fill even the hungriest of guests. Owner Carlo Martello runs the restaurant following in his parent’s footsteps when the business was founded 59 years ago.
“Our story of how we ended up here is kind of funny, actually,” Martello said. Martello’s mom, Angela Consolo, was visiting S’Agata, Sicily, when she met his father, Salvatore. The two married and moved back to the States along with a couple of other Italian families at the time.
