Hungry? A new neighborhood traditional American spot has you covered. Called Bristol Republic, the fresh arrival is located at 1124 N. High St. in Italian Village. This new business provides a Nashville-inspired dinner, drinks and happy hour menu. On the menu, expect to see items like Texas-style spare rib platters, pulled pork sandwiches and mac and cheese. According to the business' Facebook page, "Bristol Republic serves classic American barbecue and has over 120 bottles of bourbon to sip on while you catch some live music and sports."
With a 3.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Bristol Republic has gotten a good response. Allyson H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 20, wrote, "The smoked brisket was tender with great flavor. My table also ordered the dry-rub wings, which were crispy, yet meaty. We barely used any barbecue sauce as the meats were that tasty. The prices seemed reasonable for this area."
