Those looking forward to the opening of the new West Loop Italian restaurant Formento's (925 W. Randolph St., 312-690-7323) but who are short on time will still be able to enjoy a taste of Italy thanks to the restaurant's new grab-and-go counterpart, Nonna's.
Set to open Tuesday, Nonna's will offer its own casual Italian-American dishes such as sandwiches, salads, soups and sides, including a pork-and-beef meatball sandwich with mozzarella cheese, marinara and giardiniera and a mortadella dog topped with salted cabbage, horseradish and pepperoncini.
