If you're looking for some genuine Italian cheeses, sausages or other delicacies and you're anywhere near Kenosha, chances are you're headed for Tenuta's. On Tuesday, that beloved deli celebrated 75 years in business. It was 1950 when John Tenuta opened his small corner market in Kenosha. Since then, the place has grown, both in size and in popularity.
It's now operated by third and fourth generation members of the family, its shelves packed with mouthwatering goodies. But current owner Christopher Tenuta tells us there's something else that makes his deli special. "Customer service, taking care of people and treating them the way, you know, you should be treated," said Christopher Tenuta. "When I hire a worker, I say, you know, easiest lesson I'll give you in life is treat people how you want to be treated."
