
It’s been more than a decade since acclaimed chef Angelo Elia opened his second upscale location in South Florida. Since then, he has grown a mini contemporary Tuscan chain — Angelo Elia Pizza, Bar, Tapas — as a casual offshoot in step with the nation’s less fussy dining trend.
But now, more than two decades after founding his flagship Casa D’Angelo in Fort Lauderdale, he’s returning to his fine-dining roots with the surprising debut of his third Casa D’Angelo in South Florida this month. (Elia also operates a fourth location in the Bahamas.)
