A new restaurant is now open in Augusta and it's looking to serve up Italian food with a twist. Cucina 503 is off Fury's Ferry Road and serves authentic Italian cuisine.
The owner formed the menu from Italian cookbooks, visiting Italian restaurants, and his own culinary arts studies. The chef and cooks make a lot of the food from scratch. "Here we make all of our pastas by hand," said Chef Edgar Thomas. "We don't necessarily do any of the, what most people consider Italian, American Italian cuisine.
