In Italian, the word cibo means food. On Celebration Boulevard, Cibo by Stefano's means classic Italian fare in a casual and quick setting. "It's a super consolidated version of Stefano's," explained Ryan Toniolo, the 28-year-old general manager. "We just want it to be fast and convenient for people."
His parents, Anna and Steve Toniolo, established their place in the Pee Dee dining scene nearly 30 years ago with Stefano's Restaurant on South Irby Street. Ryan Toniolo practically grew up there, learning the ropes early on – bussing tables, washing dishes, making pizzas and answering the phone.
