High-end Italian restaurant Circo Orlando will be the penthouse tenant on an International Drive retail and parking project, complete with a retractable glass roof over its patio and views of the theme parks. Circo Orlando, a part of Le Cirque Restaurant brands, will be the top-level tenant at the new 10-story parking and retail structure next to Mango's Tropical Café Orlando.
Former area Buffalo Wild Wings operator Andrew Gross and developer Josh Wallack are constructing the 10,000-square-foot restaurant, which is slated to open in the second quarter of 2017. "We have a ton of high-end steakhouses on I-Drive but there isn't really much in terms of Italian," Gross said. "It should be a really high-end, fun atmosphere."
