The Madison Social owners, the same ones who brought you pub fare with a twist, are at it again with a new Italian restaurant called Centrale.

Next door to Madison Social in College Town, the Italian parlor opens on Oct. 7 with an old-school, savory menu packed with pasta, pizza and shareable appetizers like fried olives wrapped in sausage. A notable dish is the Porchetta, a pork loin wrapped in Italian herbs commonly served in Italy. Another dish is a buttery pasta pepper dish served in a parmesan cheese bowl.
