Charleston’s Christopher Columbus Sons of Italy lodge has regular member meetings, just like any other group. What sets those gatherings apart from the everyday, however, is the section of the evening devoted to a covered-dish buffet.
You can only imagine what the talented Italian cooks come up with as each person brings their best to the delight of all. Word came to me several months ago about a meeting where the meatballs made a positive impression and drew much praise.
