Antonella Diluca and Simone Raccanello emigrated from Italy to South Florida in early December. Two months later, on Feb. 4, the couple opened Via Vai Italian Deli and Wine Bar in Wilton Manors.
“We had a big dream, the American dream,” says Diluca. “We love America. We love Florida. But I can [say] it was not easy. We were scared, of course. We just left our family and friends.”
