Facebook exploded with lively discussion when area residents learned a new Italian restaurant was opening in town. It's been a while since Seagrove had a restaurant and locals have been anxious to sink their teeth into a nice hot pizza.

Primavera Italian Restaurant, 7042 U.S. 220 Alternate (the old U.S. 220), just north of the Seagrove town limits, opened on Labor Day weekend to a welcoming crowd. Business has been pretty steady since, with customers driving in from Pinehurst, Asheboro, Rockingham, Greensboro and Lexington.
