The three "wise guys" behind a new Shelby restaurant hope to create a matchless experience for its customers when they open. Wize Guyz American Italian Restaurant, helmed by chef/owner Keith Tagner and owners Ghazi Elrehayel and Daryl Rosenberger, is set to open soon at 210 W. Dixon Blvd. The location was previously occupied by The Clock, which has since moved to 1025 Kiser St., the longtime location of the Shelby Fish Camp, and re-branded itself as The Creekside Clock.
While the American/Italian eatery will fill the former location of a well-known Shelby establishment, the Wize Guyz owners have big plans to forge their own path. "It doesn't have to just be about going to eat then going home," Tagner said. "You can create an experience for people. I want to change the dynamics."
