Popular Alabaster eatery Joe's Italian is branching out and opening a scaled-down restaurant in north Montevallo at the intersection of Highway 119 and Shelby County Road 22.
Joe's Italian Crossroads Cafe is planning to open Feb. 1 as a convenient spot for customers craving a warm, hearty meal to grab a takeout order, said Sonia Bertolone, president of restaurant owner Forza Unita Inc.
