Salvatore "Rino" Fevola, principal partner in Pulcinella's in Durham, has opened Magone Italian Grill & Pizza in Chapel Hill's Timberlyne Shopping Center. Fevola named the new restaurant for a branch on his family tree. But the menu is firmly rooted in the successful formula that has allowed Pulcinella's to thrive for nearly two decades.
Apart from a few tweaks, in fact, the new menu is a clone of the old one. Pulcinella's fans will recognize the mix-and-match offering of pastas and sauces that can be be further customized with anything from meatballs to shrimp.
